We again will be closed this weekend due to lack of staff. We just don’t have enough reliable help to service our guests in the current model. While most guest are understanding and patient if there is limited seating or longer wait times, some are not and quite rude. We are currently receiving some new applicants; however, it will still take time to train and get them up to speed. Therefore, we have decided to change our model to counter ordering. During this weekend’s closure, we are moving the service counter from the back to the front. You will see that when you first walk in and there you will be able to place your order. When your order is ready, we will bring the food to your table. This will allow us to be more efficient and able to staff the restaurant with fewer people. Our core workforce has been incredible during these tough times. We want to alleviate undo pressure and frustration on them while minimizing the potential for closure because workers do not show up.
